1st year (and 2nd year of 4 year degree)
- Consultancy, accountancy and other financial services firms differ more in their approach. Some offer insight days/weeks catering for 1st years (for instance the PWC Talent Academy, the Accenture Bootcamp, the McKinsey Discover programme and the EY Leadership Academies). Longer internships are still generally reserved for students further along in their studies. These can give you a feel for what the job involves, but tend to involve little (if any) real responsibility.
